VEHICLE DESCRIPTION *Notes, PLEASE READ

  • We may update the description on this vehicle up until the last day the auction if we find additional info. So, please check back for updates.
  • Please read the description in detail before asking any questions, most will be answered here. We answer questions that are already addressed below in the Vehicle Description a low priority.

Vehicle Details:

Running condition: Motor Runs well/trans is bad NOT drivable. The transmission is bad and will need to be replaced. It will Not move an inch.

UPDATE: we put in a used tranny and it does not move an inch. We will sell the car with 2 transmissions.

New/Used Parts or Service: Fuel injector seals, Battery, used transmission

Exterior condition: We would say the exterior is in decent condition. It has some minor dents, dings, and scratches here and there but overall looks very presentable. Please watch the video.

Interior condition: We would call the interior good. It could use a good detail.

Smog Ready: No

AC Working: No

Tires: They look good with about 3/8 inch + tread.

MORE INFO: This vehicle came in it did not run or drive. The doner said it had been sitting for a couple of years. We replaced the gas, battery and injector seals to get it running, and it does run well but the trans is bad. It needs motor mounts. The AC is not cold. Transmission is broken inside, sounds like a rock crusher. These are really quite good little cars and we think this one is worth fixing for someone who has more resources than we do it. The body and paint are both decent and the interior is decent, it's not rusty so we think it's worth fixing for someone. We only have one mechanic right now, and just don't have the resources to fix it. We need the space.

Exterior condition: Looks good, some minor dents and scratches here and there, but generally very good

Interior condition: Also, good, could use a good detail

Smog Ready: yes

AC Working: Yes

Tires: look fairly new

MORE INFO: The donor was driving this vehicle about a month ago and it just quit running. We did identify one short in the water pump and replaced that pump to correct that problem. We replaced a couple of fuses and reprogram the keys, and now it seems to run and drive well. It was making a fair amount of suspension noise up front, so we replaced the struts and the lower control arms. The display screen, the touchscreen was also not working. It just had black lines through the middle of it so we have re-ordered a new one of those and now it works well. Watch for updates.

RESERVE POLICY; For a long time we have tried to sell our vehicles with no reserve but found that sometimes they sell for less than we have spent on them, or to low for us to be profitable so we will now put a reserve on most vehicles. We generally set the reserve BELOW THE LOW KELLY BLUE BOOK PRICE for the vehicles based on our assessment of their condition. We have found it most effective to not disclose the reserve price.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION *Notes, PLEASE READ

  • We may update the description on this vehicle up until the last day the auction if we find additional info. So, please check back for updates.

Please read the description in detail before asking any questions, most will be answered here. We answer questions that are already addressed below in the Vehicle Description a low priority.

Vehicle Details:

Running Condition: Runs and Drives

New/Used Parts or Service: steering gear box, water pump.

Exterior condition: Fair

Interior condition: Fair

Smog Ready: Not yet, Watch for updates

AC Working: no

Tires: Just came in, It runs and drives, we are replacing the steering gearbox, have to use starter fluid to start it, The back roll down door is missing, watch for updates as we check it out. True miles are unknown, the odometer does not have a space for 100 K. We tried to replace the glow plugs but couldn't get the old ones out of the heads. Watch for updates.

MORE INFO: it runs and drives OK. We tried to replace the glow plugs, but couldn't get the old ones out so we will sell it with a new glow plugs inside the cab. It is necessary to use starter fluid to start it when cold, changing the glow plugs would probably fix that. It turns further to the left than the right, even with the replaced steering gearbox so we need some kind of steering/suspension work that we can't figure out, not our Specialty. The brakes work OK but there is a fair amount of travel in the pedal. Motor and tranny seem fine though. Ac Is not working. Rear Roll down door is missing.

In these cases, we will repair the vehicle or revise the listing and re-posted in the next auction.
  • We used to leave repair receipts and service records in the vehicles, but a number of buyers got the donors personal information from those receipts and contacted our donors for additional information about the vehicle.
